WORK
ORDER CENTER

The work order center manages and tracks maintenance work order data, including inventory items used and employee time consumed in completing each work order.

You may ask for maintenance of public housing units can be requested by phone.

  •        To place a work order call 646-7200
  •        The Center works 8 am through 4.30 am
  •        After Hours Work Orders can be placed by calling 646-7200 during the hours              4:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. Monday through Friday     
  •        We provide 24 hour coverage on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays

There are two types of work orders:

RoutineRepairs that do not pose an immediate threat to life, health or safety,

and

Non-Routine(Emergency)Repairs that threaten life, health or safety of the residents/ public or threaten the integrity of the building or property.

The Center tracks data work order data for both routine and non-routine maintenance requests, tenant account receivables, inventory, UPCS Inspections, vacant unit turnaround, etc. The Center also:

  •           Posts service charges to a tenant’s account in Tenant Accounts Receivable
  •           Tracks maintenance staff involved in the completion of each work order
  •           Reduces inventory for items used to make work order repairs
  •           Produces reports on work performed over a set period of time
